I just upgraded my itunes from like v 10.2 to the current one...omg. this is so different...the logo is red now....weeeiiirrrdddddd

I'm starting to hate Samsung, and Toshiba. I thin km y next laptop/phone/tablet purchase will be an Apple product. There is no denying that the Ipad is the best Tablet on the market. and my S4 has crap reception.

I've actually been considering replacing my iPad with a Galaxy Tab. I've already replaced my iPhone with a Galaxy S5. Android OS is lightyears ahead of iOS.

It took me like a month to stop looking for the blue desktop icon.

I do love that the editing window can float on top of other windows, such as the web browser.

At least you've identified yourself accurately here. Anyone who is strictly pro- or anti- [apple/android/microsoft/etc] and engages in heated discussions about such subjects is a dickbag because there is rarely, if ever, only one correct solution. Each option has benefits and drawbacks and as a result, each option will have varying merit to different people.

267GB here. I don't even have an iPod anymore (I had a 160GB Classic that died), but I'm so used to iTunes that I'm still using it to sync with my Android via iSyncr.

I remember those I had a friend that swore that Nokia was going to take over with Symbian he even went out of his way to get a n900 off contract (we were freshman in high school and he paid for it by himself) but he quickly changed over to team Apple after that didn't happen.

yup same goes for one car make over an other. they all have pros and cons, just depends on which one you like, or need, or more often than not which one you are comfortable/familiar with.

I've stopped updating itunes for exactly this reason. If I ever decide to go to Yosemite, I'll likely end up with the new one like I did when I went from Lion to Mavericks, but for now? Meh.

When software update asks if I want to update (once a week) I take a shufty, laugh, and quit the app store. There are a bunch of updates for software I never use (like Safari, the second best browser for downloading another browser) that I haven't bothered with, although I usually get anything called a security update. iTunes itself is firewalled and can't connect to the internet anyhow unless I tell it to.

I got rid of iTunes because it got so bloated for me. I use MediaMonkey (free, but I use the paid version) and it still syncs to my iPod.
